Question by Master Kai: I am too nervous to go to Taekwando?
Last year, I was so obsessed with Kung Fu Panda that I took a free one month class. So I went. I was nervous, the master kept showing me how to do one move, I forgot how to, turned around and saw him teaching other students..I asked for help about 5 times and got nervous, then soon everyone was whacking me with swimming noodles (its to test my defence “moves”) I didn’t really defend, but I got really nervous and this canada day today I took another free membership, seeing the master today again and he did not recignise me, but he did to my friend because she’s done a class. I just want to prevail my nervousness, I hated to go like “EYAA!” and knock the dummy over, I don’t know I guess I’m silly and disipline and seriousness is hard for me! P.S I’m 13.
I have always liked China even more after Kung Fu Panda, I started to admire the landscapes alot. I saw the mountains when it was raining and all I kept thinking about was China and Kung Fu Panda! I just admire China so much I want to respect the self defense fighting techniques, I want to do Kung Fu More, I want to learn how to do Leopard Style, Crane Style, or Tiger Style
Well, I know Kung Fu is NOT Taekwando, just a different name with different moves. I just like Kung Fu more, some turn out to be scams really but I don’t know. The master was teaching so many students there was just a small room to practice in. I’m just not that serious about it, I laugh when everytime they go “eyaa!” like I don’t take it seriously. I want to I want to respect the art, I just want to feel calm, doing it with a friend would be more comfertable, I wanna also know if there is Kung Fu in Vancouver (I live near vancouver)

you sound energetic! but being serious isn’t always needed in self defense you know. You can have lots of fun and be serious. 
its like a switch. But self defense is quite easy. when you sensei teaches you a technique or maybe even two go home and practice. If you have a lil bro or sis, heck even an older one pull them aside and show them what you learned. Also its a great way for if you have parents that say you need to study for 30 min when you get home from school! practice is studying.then next time you go to class you would be ready for the next technique.
